Looking for a friend who lost contact with when we were kids?

When I was about 10-12 I had a friend, I lost touch with. They really took care of her, but my mother made me stop having anything to do with it. (mother and my uncle divorced and my mother would not let me have something to do with him), always I reminded her and felt a great desire to find or contact. Here are some facts: her name was Diane, who was a year older than me, his mother was married to Jim Herron of Beardstown, Illinois. His father died of cancer shortly before she and my uncle met. They lived in Rushville, Illinois, sometime before his mother and met his uncle. We became good friends and spent much time together. When his mother married Uncle Jim, who lived very near the Illinois River, and we'd above the sea wall and spend time in operation. I lived in a very small town called Summum. When his mother and his uncle Jim sperata, moved to Little Rock, AR and wrote letters back soon. Until Mom made me stop.
